Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nasir El Rufai, will fly the governorship flag of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the coming general elections after emerging winner of the party’s governorship primaries in Kaduna State.
Mr. El Rufai polled 1,965 votes, to defeat Ashiru who received a significant portion of votes, 1,379 votes.
Other candidates scored as follows: Saeed 127 votes, Abdullahi Ango 25 votes and Salihu Mohammed Lukman 22 votes. Invalid votes 28.
