Al Jazeera Refers To Nigeria’s President As ‘Badluck Jonathan’

An article on the website of famous Qatari Channel, Al Jazeera has referred to Nigeria president as ‘Badluck Jonathan’.

The article which was posted on the opinion page of the website on 10th February, was written by Solomon Ayele Dersso , a legal academic and analyst of African affairs.

Dersso, who often write on African issues, is head of the Peace and Security Council Report at the Institute for Security Studies, Addis Ababa office.

The 17 paragraphs article focused on postponement of the presidential election earlier scheduled for February 14, the chances of the two major candidates and variables that could work against the incumbent president at the polls.
