Two suspected Boko Haram members were arrested on Saturday with explosive devices in Plateau State. The two men were said to be on a mission to detonate the explosive devices at the park of Plateau Riders and Gada Biu, both in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, when luck ran out on them.

This is coming just days after a twin blast at the Abuja Market in front of the Jos University Teaching Hospital. No fewer than 118 persons were reported dead in the explosions.

It was also gathered that the Boko Haram sect members sent notification letters to some motor parks announcing their intention to attack the parks and worship centres across the state. Another bomb scare at the busy British American Junction on Friday in Jos left several persons with minor injuries, while there was chaos in the whole town.

In a letter sent in the early hours of Saturday to some Christian’s communities in Plateau State, the terrorist group threatened to bomb market places and worship places.
