Nigeria’s 2015 Presidential elections took off on a shaky note as card readers needed for accreditation of voters failed at some polling Stations.
In President Goodluck Jonathan’s hometown, Otuoke in Bayelsa state, INEC Officials had issues with the card readers. The president and his family were delayed for over 30 minutes as they were having challenges getting accredited. The president left the polling unit after attempts to get him accredited failed.
However, he returned after a couple of hours and was finally accredited without the Card readers.
