Dangote Cement Plc has announced an increase of N10.445 billion in its revenue for the period ended June 30, 2014.
Dangote Cement has highest market capitalisation on the Nigerian bourse of N3.851 trillion as at August 15, 2014 with market price of N226 kobo per share.
The group, in its half year 2014 result sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday, reported a percentage growth of 5.26 in its revenue from N198.463 billion to end the period with N208.908 billion.
The company’s revenue also rose by N11.582 billion from N190.770 billion recorded during the same period of 2013 to close at N202.352 billion in 2014 half year.
According to half year result of Dangote Cement Group for 2014, the company recorded a decrease of N611 million, representing 0.57 per cent from N107.680 billion in profit before tax to stand at N107.069 billion at the end of 2014 half year result.
