Dangote fulfills $50K AFCON goal pledge to Super Eagles

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote has  redeemed his pledge of $50,000 to the Super Eagles for their performance at the just concluded 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

This came days after the billionaire businessman and former chairman of Forte Oil PLC, Femi Otedola fulfilled his own pledge of $25,000 to the Nigerian team.

The duo had made the promise before the Eagles’ semi final clash against Algeria in Egypt.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, the money was presented to the team in Lagos by Olakunle Alake, GMD of Dangote Group, accompanied by Anthony Chiejina, Chief Corp. Communication Officer.

The Super Eagles team was represented by John Ogu, Team Admin, Enebi Achor and Kit manager, Chidi Ngoka.
