Italian International, Daniel De Rossi, has been named the highest-paid player in the Serie A, for the 2014/2015 season.

The Roma midfield player is followed by the Argentine duo of Gonzalo Higuain (SS Napoli) and Carlos Tevez (Juventus), who are placed 2nd and 3rd with €5.5m and €4.5m per year respectively.

Rossi was first named the highest earner in 2012, when AS Roma, offered him a contract extension worth €6.5 million after tax.
