Lukas Fabianski has ended his seven years spell at Arsenal after signing a four-year deal with fellow premier league club Swansea.

The Polish international was in goal throughout Arsenal’s FA Cup campaign last season and was a major contributor  in the semi final where he saved two penalties  as the gunners went on to end their nine-year wait for a trophy.

Fabianski, 29, joined the Gunners from Legia Warsaw in 2007, but struggled for a regular role in the first team, managing 75 starts in all competitions.

The 29-year-old left Arsenal as a free agent to become Garry Monk’s first signing as Swansea manager. He will now compete with Swansea’s current first choice goalkeeper, Michel Vorm, for first team shirt next season.
