The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed November 18 for the conduct of the Anambra governorship election.
This was contained in the time-able and schedule of activities for the Anambra State governorship election, made available to journalists at a media briefing last night.
National Commissioner, Solomon Soyebi, said notice of election will be issued on 21 and the commencement of campaign by political parties will commence on August 18 while conduct of party primaries including resolution of disputes arising thereof will take place between July 22 and September 2.
He said the collection of forms by political parties at INEC headquarters will take place between August 23 to August 25 while September 18 is fixed as last day for the submission of forms CF001 and CF002 at the INEC headquarters, among others.
