Former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has congratulated Macky Sall on his election as the new President of Senegal.
Jonathan, who also congratulated the people of Senegal in his latest tweet, described Macky emergence as a new beginning.
He said the new development not only reaffirms Senegal’s place as Africa’s bastion of political stability but also renews hope in the growth and sustainability of democracy on the African continent.
His tweet reads: ‘I heartily felicitates with Macky Sall and the good people of the Republic of Senegal for this new beginning that not only reaffirms Senegal’s place as Africa’s bastion of political stability but also renews hope in the growth and sustainability of democracy on our continent.’
