MTN thrills students on 4G LTE Campus Invasion

As a demonstration of its commitment to promote fast-data network services, Africa’s leading cellular telecommunications, MTN, is currently on 4G LTE Campus invasion tour.

According to the company’s official Twitter handle, the campus invasion tour has four major focus. Among which are MTN Pulse migration, MyMTN App download (for the best data deals), 4G awareness and 4G SIM upgrade (for 4GB free data), MTN Smart features phone and smartphone upgrade ((for Kpalasa double data offer).

A representative of the company noted that ‘LTE (long Term Evolution) stands for the 4th generation of telecommunications technology that delivers very high data speeds. With LTE, a person can enjoy HD Video streaming, Video and Voice calls, superfast downloads, online gaming and much more’

‘LTE offers faster download and upload speeds that will considerably improve your internet experience. With LTE, you can stream music and video, upload and download faster. You can essentially use your mobile or tablet like a fixed line internet connection’, he added.

So far, the network provider has taken the 4G LTE invasion to some campuses, namely: Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Nnamdi Azikwe University, Awka (UNIZIK), University of Uyo and Yaba University of Technology (YABATECH).

In each of the schools visited so far, the students have engaged in various games such as sack race, snookers, Table Tennis among others. At Yabatech, some of the students took advantage of the event to upgrade their SIM to MTN 4G and got free 4GB data instantly to enjoy better browsing experience.

At the Garuba square in Nnamdi Azikwe University, Awka, the students got gifts and free data offers. They competed in dancing competition including cultural displays. There was also a raffle draw through which winners emerged.

The campus invasion is inching towards its closing stages as it currently go on at UNIZIK.
