The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has now confirmed in its recent announcement on its official website that Salisu Yusuf is now assistant coach to Stephen Keshi and not Daniel Amokachi.
After releasing a 26-man roster of players from the Nigerian league for the Chad game on its website on Thursday, the NFF also listed the technical crew headed by Keshi but Amokachi’s name, who had previously worked as assistant in the Super Eagles, was missing.
El-Kanemi Warriors manager Yusuf is listed as assistant coach. The official Twitter handle of the NFF also had the same information.
The NFF also informed that the other backroom staff of the Super Eagles “as constituted during the last international friendly against South Africa” remain unchanged.
