The commissioner for information and national orientation in Edo State, Louis Odion has said that governor Oshiomole will contest for President in 2015. The commissioner disclosed this on Wednesday, while speaking with journalists in Benin, the Edo State Capital.
According to the commissioner, Governor Oshiomole’s candidacy represents the greatest hope for Nigeria which is currently in bondage.
In his statement, he said, “It is not a rumour. It is a fact; Oshiomole is in the race. But if you expect the kind of jamboree that is currently taking place, where people embark on road shows, promising heaven and earth, Oshiomole is not going to do that.’
“I can tell you he is in the race and it is in the response of the yearnings of well meaning Nigerians that our country needs somebody of his pedigree at this point of our history to move Nigeria forward.”
