More ex-internationals have begun to call the attention of the football authorities to develop the Nigerian Professional Football League with Henry Nwosu the latest to call for a revamp of the NPFL.
Nwosu called for the Super Eagles team to be built around home-based players with foreign players brought to augment the team.
“We must return to the League, select players and equally scout around the world for dedicated foreign based footballers,who are regulars for their clubs, and build an Eagles team in earnest.”
“We can’t afford to wait until its late or procrastinate on this preparation,” the former Eagles player told footballlive.ng
